Ha-seul was the third member to be revealed and was part of LOONA 1/3 sub-unit. All members of 1/3 have a representative country and capital. Ha-seul's one is Iceland. Her representative animal is a white bird, and in loonaverse we can usually see her as a white dove. Her solo is especially elegant, and one of my favorites. On the MV, we can see how other members are represented, such as a yellow van being Hyun-jin and her red coat being Hee-jin.
Her solo stays as my favorite solo (as a title track), she made me fell in love completely with LOONA and became my first bias.


After all 1/3 members were revealed, they debuted as the complete subunit -without Yeo-jin because of her education- and released Love & Evil. This whole EP is very dear to me. We were able to see more of Ha-seul and her interacting with the other members. She had been in ViVi's solo song and was a trainee with Hee-jin and Hyun-jin, and they even participed in the show MIXNINE. In my opinion, Ha-seul was especially charming in this era, along with Vivi.



She promoted with the group until [ x x ] era, and she started a hiatus that lasted until 2021, where she rejoined in [&] era. Her hiatus not only impacted comebacks but also the fandom and the girls. A group who was meant to be 12, Dalso girls, the Girl of the Month had to now promote as a 11 members girl group. I feel like this also played a role of people not feeling that connected to Ha-seul. She was one of the first bias I had, so I loved her a lot, and the hiatus broke my heart, but we always knew she was returning. During [12:00] era, she was rumored to join with the title name and the trailers, which mentioned her representative country. Sadly, she didn't join in this comeback.

Ha-seul personality could be defined as the mom of the group, which is something most of the fandom can agree. During pre-debut days, as she was the third member to debut and also the first sub-unit, she took the role of a caregiver for Yeo-jin. Yeo-jin was only 15 years old at the time, and had to prepare for debut. They were one of the closest members and Ha-seul always was very protective of her and the rest of the members. Thanks to that, she gained this cute nickname. She has a very strong voice, but during LOONA days, she always stayed in the back of barely got any lines -Hi High incident-.

After she was free from Blockberry Creative along with the other members, she joined MODHAUS with Hee-jin, Kim lip, Jin-soul and Choerry. After a lot of teasers, it was confirmed the 5 of them would redebut in a new group called ARTMS.
Ha-seul released two digital singles as a solo artist, the first one called 'Plastic Candy' than later was sampled into ARTMS' song, 'Candy Crush'. Her second release was 'Fragile Eyes'. Ha-seul's genre is very calm, ballad-like, with hints of city pop that make it very nostalgic and pleasant to listen to.


ARTMS finally debuted in _ and since then, Ha-seul has been gaining more and more attention, getting more lines, center positions, etc. Virtual Angel and Icarus were both very big songs that are still highly streamed today. It's very nice to see her getting this treatment.

Like I mentioned before, Ha-seul was one of my first bias. Her solo was my favorite and still is. She had this cute, motherly vibe on her that made me connect a lot with her. After she went on hiatus, me and a lot of orbits were very worried about her not coming back, but I wished for her to recover from her anxiety. When finally Ha-seul returned, I couldn't be happier. Seeing all the members as happy as I was, seeing my ot12 together again, was what made me so joyful, waiting for all the releases with an ot12 version. After the hiatus, she gained more attention and lines, but not the amount she deserves, in my opinion.

When she debuted in ARTMS, I could see a considerable change in her. She was more confident, she had more spotlight, she was more goofy. Ha-seul was always a goofball, a very funny member, but she also had this mother side that people were more aware of. In ARTMS, she had no longer no one to "baby" to, as it was with our lovely Yeo-jin, so her funny side started to show more. I would even say Ha-seul is ARTMS baby today. Our shortest member, and the one they care the most. I'm so happy to have seen her grow. I never thought things would turn out this way, but I'm very glad that my Seulie is doing much better.
